Tuti’s Blog #6 – Toilet Rolls

Rolls

Boredom is one of the drawbacks to living in a small urban terrace house with miniature garden. When I was little I used to amuse myself by inventing games – like batting something under a chair, then clawing it back out; or chasing my own tail; or shredding toilet rolls; or trying to catch the beams of light moving across the wall from cars passing outside in the street. The Carers found these antics highly amusing – which just illustrates their low threshold of intelligence. I occasionally still like to rush at top speed around the house just to alarm The Carers, skateboard on the hallway carpet, or slalom in the bath (provided there is no water in it). Shredding toilet rolls is still a good wheeze for catching The Carers attention!
