Bill’s Lovely Day – I asked the old Carer which was her favourite song. No hesitation – Bill Withers’ Lovely Day. Any Human who prefers to snuggle in a duvet with a cat person would choose this song, wouldn’t they, as they only have to take just one look at us when they wake up to feel the world’s alright – well, at least, until they turn on the news. Then I guess they’d have to play There Ain’t No Sunshine, only darkness every day. For the record, my favourite is Just the Two of Us, meaning me and the old Carer – and I love those ‘crystal raindrops on the window’ too… as long as I am indoors.
